Roy Estrada, former bassist for Frank Zappa, has been sentenced to 25 years in prison for molesting a female family member under the age of 14.
Estrada did the deed after serving time in a California jail for committing a lewd act with a child.
A rep for the Tarrant County district attorney, which had jurisdiction of the crime, said Estrada had done the act with other family members oblivious:
"The victim's family was unaware that he was a convicted sex offender. Estrada was sentenced to 25 years in a plea bargain agreement and is not eligible for parole. He will be 93 years old before he is released from prison."
Estrada played bass with the Mothers of Invention on and off from 1964 to 1975.
