Extreme Networks Names Nancy Shemwell EVP Of Global Sales - Quick Facts

Extreme Networks, Inc. (EXTR) on Monday announced that it has appointed Nancy Shemwell to the position of Executive Vice President of Global Sales.

In her role, she will lead sales and channel management teams across the company's global regions, the company said. These teams will be focused on expanding and establishing new paths to the cloud, data center, enterprise campus and mobility markets.

Previously, Shemwell was the President and CEO of Multi-Link, EVP Global Sales at Symmetricom and also held a 16 year career with Nortel Networks.

According to the company, Shemwell has a proven track record of being able to grow revenue and improve gross margins.

Oscar Rodriguez, president and CEO of Extreme Networks, said, "Nancy brings to Extreme Networks the leadership skills, relationships and proven sales experience that can help us drive towards our revenue and operating income goals."
