Van Halen has announced rescheduled shows in Osaka and Tokyo (Japan) for summer 2013. The band had originally planned to play Japan in late November, but was forced to postpone after Eddie Van Halen underwent surgery in August for an inflamed colon.
The new dates, featuring original front man David Lee Roth on vocals and Eddie's son, Wolfgang, on bass, are June 21 at the Tokyo Dome and June 24 and 26 at Osaka's City Central Gymnasium. Promoters for the show say that tickets purchased for the original dates will be honored.
The legendary 1980s rock band is touring behind recently released album A Different Kind of Truth.
No word on when or if the band will finish its American tour which also had to be postponed following Eddie's surgery.
