In early European deals on Thursday, the pound slipped against the euro and the Swiss franc.
The pound is trading at a 3-week low of 1.4957 against the franc with 1.49 seen as the next downside target level. The pair closed yesterday's deals at 1.4975.
Against the euro, the pound is trading at 0.8053, its lowest level since October 31. The next support level for the pound is seen at 0.81.
