At 4.30 am ET Wednesday, U.K. services PMI is due. The indicator is forecast to rise to 51 in November from 50.6 in the prior month.
Ahead of the data, the pound showed mixed trading against other major currencies. While the pound recovered against the franc, it held steady against the yen. Against the euro and the greenback, the pound fell.
At 4:25 am ET, the pound was quoted at 1.6104 against the greenback, 132.47 against the yen, 0.8146 against the euro and 1.4933 against the franc.
