After moving broadly sideways in the early Asian session, the Australian dollar advanced to multi-day highs of 1.0394 against its US counterpart in late trading on Friday.
The aussie-greenback pair is fast approaching the 1.04 level and its next likely resistance beyond this level is seen around the 1.0420 area. The pair closed yesterday's deals at 1.0379.
