The Canadian dollar lost ground against the Australian currency during early European deals on Friday.
The loonie declined to 1.0340 against the aussie, its weakest level since December 24. The loonie thus lost 0.08 percent against the aussie from yesterday's close of 1.0332. On the downside, 1.04 is seen as the next target level for the loonie.
