The New Zealand dollar extended its late Asian session uptrend against other major currencies in early deals on Wednesday.
The kiwi climbed to a 12-day high of 1.5756 against the euro and an 8-day high of 0.8441 against the US dollar around 4:10 am ET.
The NZ dollar also jumped to a 6-day high of 1.2518 against the Australian dollar and moved off its Asian session's 6-day low of 74.08 against the yen around the same time. NZD/JPY was trading at 74.54 around 4:15 am ET.
If the kiwi extends advance, likely resistance levels are seen at 0.8460 against the greenback, 1.25 versus the aussie, 75.0 against the yen and 1.57 against the euro.
