At 5:00 an ET Monday, Eurostat is scheduled to publish Eurozone producer prices for December. Producer price inflation is forecast to rise to 2.2 percent from 2.1 percent in November.
Before the data, the euro showed mixed trading against other major currencies. While the euro climbed against the yen, it fell against the rest of major currencies.
At 4:55 am ET, the euro was quoted at 1.3584 against the greenback, 0.8638 against the pound, 1.2370 against the franc and 126.55 against the yen.
