The U.S. dollar rose against European major currencies ahead of European deals on Wednesday.
The greenback is now trading at 0.9109 against the franc, recovering from an early 5-day low of 0.9059.
Against the euro and the pound, the greenback gained to 1.3555 and 1.5642 from yesterday's close of 1.3584 and 1.5661, respectively.
