The Swiss franc declined sharply against its major counterparts by about 2:35 am ET Wednesday.
The franc fell to as low as 102.62 against the yen after hitting a 1-1/2-year high of 103.70 in early deals.
The franc hit a 2-day low of 1.2366 against the euro and a 1-week low of 0.9138 against the greenback, compared to an early high of 1.2310 and a multi-day high of 0.9059, respectively.
Against the pound, the franc retreated from a 1-year high of 1.4187 and is worth 1.4282.
