Rick Springfield was arrested last week in Los Angeles for failure to appear at a court date. The classic rocker posted news of the incident to his Facebook page, saying he was unaware of the date.
"Arrested this am on a bench warrant. I didn't know that I was supposed [to] appear in court a few weeks ago," he posted on his Facebook page along with a photo of the police station.
He added: "It was to do with the old DUI charge and it's been cleared up and I am free to go."
The L.A. County Sheriff's Department confirmed to E! News that Springfield called his wife, who brought the necessary paperwork to the station to clear things up.
Rick was arrested in May 2011 for speeding and being a little drunk.
