Katy Perry is putting the remnants of her failed marriage to Russell Brand behind her by selling off the couples 1920s-era home they once shared for $6.925 million.
According to real estate website Zillow.com, visitors to the home enter through a stone foyer with stained-glass windows, a sweeping staircase, and arched doorways, which lead off into other areas of the 8,835-square-foot home. Included among seven bedrooms and nine bathrooms is a four-room master suite, two guest suites and staff quarters. There's also a large living room with a small balcony that looks out onto the Hollywood Hills, as well as an open kitchen and a cushioned breakfast nook off. A low-ceilinged dining room offers additional seating, as does a small, arched eat-in area.
Site records show that Perry and Brand purchased the property for $6.5 million back in June 2011. Reportedly they planned to redo it before moving in, but plans fell apart when Brand filed for divorce six months later.
