Iceland's consumer price inflation stayed unchanged in May, data released by Statistics Iceland showed Wednesday.
Inflation as per the consumer price index stayed unchanged at 3.3 percent in May. The consumer price index, excluding housing costs, was higher by 3.4 percent than in May 2012.
Prices of food products climbed 5 percent annually during the month, and costs of domestic goods and vegetables rose by 5.7 percent. Prices of imported goods were higher by 0.8 percent than a year earlier.
Month-on-month, the consumer price index decreased modestly by 0.05 percent, after gaining 0.2 percent in April. Over the last three months, the index increased by 0.3 percent, data showed.
