Miley Cyrus has set October 8 as the release date for her new album Bangerz, her fourth studio release.
She announced the date on Twitter. "#BANGERZ #Oct8th," she tweeted.
Cyrus also took the time to respond to a fan regarding the album's sound, saying: "I had no preconceived ideas w/ this record. The album revealed its name about 8 songs in when I realized we got nutn but #bangerz."
Miley has been in the studio with Mike WiLL Made It, Pharrell, Da Internz (who added that Bangerz has "lots of bass, lots of ass"), Planet VI, Stacy Barthe, and Sam Hook, and has also collaborated with Big Sean, Future, Nelly, and French Montana, who partners with Cyrus on a remix for "Ain't Worried About Nothin'."
