Bono's daughter is earning accolades for her role in the new hit drama Enough Said. Eve Hewson is the 22-year-old daughter of the U2 frontman, who plays the daughter of James Gandolfini in the Sopranos star's final film.
Hewson will also star in Steven Soderbergh's upcoming TV drama The Knick. The show will air on Cinemax and is set to begin production later this month.
Despite Bono's show biz profession, Hewson says that her father was not happy about her decision to become an actress.
"It's because they know that world, and it's really hard," she told the National Post. "The rejection is awful, the competition is terrifying and you're constantly up and down. They were like, 'No, no, no, please, no!' I had to really fight for it."
Hewson has previously starred in the films The 27 Club and This Must Be The Place.
