Rolling Stones, Led Zeppelin and Black Sabbath all took home awards at the recent Classic Rock Roll of Honor awards. The Stones won Band of the Year, which fronter Mick Jagger accepted via video link:

"We had a fantastic summer here in the U.K. Glastonbury was one of the most exciting gigs we've ever done, and Hyde Park was a wonderful summer's evening."

Zep took home the Film of the Year honor for their Celebration Day concert movie, while Sabbath won Album of the Year, Event of the Year and the Living Legend prize.

"It's fantastic to get the awards," said guitarist Tony Iommi. "When we started out we never thought about it, you just wanted to play. Even this time now, we never thought for a minute it would get to number one, we just wanted to make an album."
