"Roar," the first single from Katy Perry's latest, Prism, has sold four million digital copies in the 17 weeks since its release. It is the pop princess' seventh song to reach the mark, and she did it quicker than any other song in history.
Perry also found herself on several of Billboard's year end charts, including the Hot 100 Songs ("Roar," number ten), Hot 100 Artists (no. 14), Billboard 200 Albums (Prism, no. 49) and Billboard 200 Artists and Streaming Songs ("Roar," no. 13).
Perry was last spotted on the red carpet at the 15th NRJ Music Awards at the Palais des Festivals in Cannes, France, on Saturday night.
According to the Daily Mail, Perry "showcased her incredible figure in a striking satin mullet-hem minidress featuring dazzling metallic embellishment."
