Robert Downey Jr. Sings Police Track With Sting

Robert Downey Jr. took to the stage alongside Sting at the latter's 60th birthday party earlier this month, singing a rendition of the Police classic "Driven to Tears." In a video currently streaming via YouTube, Downey shows off his dead-on impersonation of the Police front man.

Throughout the vid, Downey is seen confidently ripping into the tune alongside Sting, who jumps in sporadically to add harmonies.

It's not Downey's first foray into professional singing, however, as he released a jazz-oriented album through Sony Classics in 2004.

He spoke on that release, The Futurist, at the time:

"It's certainly not a simpleton deal, you know what I'm saying?" he told the Guardian. "There's no stopping the human spirit once you decide to dispel a belief you have about your own inabilities."
