A new four-disc Rod Stewart box set entitled Live 1976-1998: Tonight's the Night will be released in March. The expansive set collects 58 performances from some of Stewart's most commercially successful touring years, most of them previously unreleased.
Source tapes for the material include recordings from Stewart's 1976 U.K. tour, Los Angeles shows from 1979 and 1993, Wembley concerts from 1980 and 1981, a 1984 show in San Diego, a 1989 appearance at the Meadowlands in New Jersey, and a 1998 London show.
The comp serves as Rhino's latest collection released from Stewart's archives, which previously yielded a separate four-disc set (The Rod Stewart Sessions 1971-1998) focusing on studio tracks.
Live 1976-1998: Tonight's the Night hits March 18.
