Craig Morgan granted the wish of 14-year-old Sarah Gabbard, who is battling Sanfilippo Syndrome, a rare metabolic disorder. With the help of Make-a-Wish Mississippi, Gabbard was able to meet her favorite singer, Morgan.
"Thanks to Make-a-Wish Mississippi, I had the opportunity to meet Sarah yesterday," Morgan wrote on Twitter. "Today she turns 14. Let's all wish this amazing young lady a very Happy Birthday. #HappyBirthdaySarah"
An accompanying photo shows Morgan sitting on a couch as he holds the hand of the sick little girl. Sarah's mom, Laurie Harmon, thanked Craig via Facebook:
"Thank you Craig Morgan and your team along with Make-a-Wish for making my daughter's dream come true from the bottom of our hearts," she wrote. "It was a perfect day."
