Chris Brown's upcoming assault trial has reportedly been pushed back by months. The move comes after a Washington, D.C. judge has refused to issue immunity to a bodyguard employed by Brown who was also involved in the incident.
Breezy's bodyguard Christopher Hollosy was already convicted in the assault case in May and was expected to testify against his former boss. The singer's trial was expected to begin this week but is now on hold at the order of Judge A. Franklin Burgess Jr.
Brown's attorney Mark Geragos spoke on the delay, saying that it is mere posturing on the part of the court:
"I think all of this is much ado about nothing and frankly I look forward to being able to try this at some point," said Geragos.
