A restored version of the Beatles' 1964 film A Hard Day's Night will hit over 50 theaters nationwide on the July 4 weekend. The film premiered in early April at the TCM Classic Movie Film Festival in Hollywood.

THR reports that distributor Janus Films hired producer Giles Martin, son of Sir George Martin, to remix and remaster the soundtrack at Abbey Road Studios, for 5.1 sound systems.

Featured on the soundtrack are such classic Fab Four tunes as "I Should Have Known Better," "If I Fell," "Can't Buy Me Love" and the title track.

The print has been digitally restored in 4K resolution from the original camera negative by the Criterion Collection's restoration team and approved by director Richard Lester, according to Variety.

The release marks the film's 50th anny following its 1964 premiere at London's Pavilion Theatre.
