Axl Rose of Guns N' Roses says he's alive and well despite reports to the contrary. Rose was the victim of the latest celebrity hoax, having the news of his death published on a site designed to emulate MSNBC's site.
"The home was entered by police through an open back door where a body was found in the foyer area. We have found no signs of abuse or foul-play and have turned the case over to the coroner's office to make a final ruling on the cause of death," read a fake quote on the site.
The real Axl hit Twitter to joke, "If I'm dead do I still have to pay taxes?"
He also made fun of the incident on Facebook, saying, "Ha! They say I'm dead — again . . . Wait, what? WTF? It's a hoax."
