Informatica Corp. (INFA) spiked sharply to the upside around 1:15PM Monday, due to reports that two private equity consortia have submitted offers to acquire the company.
Informatica ended the session with a gain of 1.61 at $45.83 on strong volume. The stock broke out of nearly a 2-month trading range and set a new high for the year.
