If Kanye West does indeed run for president in 2020, he has at least one supporter in Rihanna.
In a recent interview with ET, Rihanna said she would cast her vote for Kanye. "I mean people are voting for [Donald] Trump," she said. "Who wouldn't vote for Kanye?!"
She also reacted to his acceptance speech for the Video Vanguard Award at the MTV VMA's. "I got to see it," she added, "and I'm really, really elated with his speech. His speech was incredible."
In addition to Rihanna, Kanye also has the support of the White House. In an interview with reporters, White House Press Secretary Josh Earnest responded to a question about West's run for office by jokingly saying he looks "forward to seeing what slogan he chooses to embroider on his campaign hat."
