Martina McBride debuted a new song "Reckles" during a concert at Atlantic City's Trump Taj Mahal Casino Resort on Saturday. Speaking with Atlantic City Weekly, McBride reveals that she's getting some help on her latest album.
"I haven't had the need to write — I haven't written anything that's as good as what I've found from these amazing Nashville songwriters," she began.
"Nashville is a really special place — it's a community of songwriters and producers and musicians. I've been able to find really great songs."
McBride also hit Instagram to post a pic of her in the studio, laying down vocals for "Reckless."
"Starting my record today with a song that makes me cry in a good and grateful way. I'm literally standing right here in front of this microphone in tears. This has never happened to me before. All the stuff I've been going through the past few years . . . all the lessons in humility, gratitude, and faith . . . have led me here to this moment."
Martina's latest album will be the follow-up to 2013's Everlasting.
