Conspiracy Theory Suggests Supertramp Album Cover Predicted 9/11

A well-known conspiracy theorist says that the Supertramp release Breakfast in America predicted the 9/11 attacks. The allegation comes in the form of a YouTube video in which the album's cover comes into question.

The album cover features a rendering of the New York skyline before the 9/11 attacks featuring the Twin Towers. If the album is held up to a mirror, the letters "p" and "u" in the band's name appear reversed forming the numbers 9 and 11 directly about the towers.

The band also made recent headlines as fronter Rick Davies was diagnosed with cancer and the band decided to cancel their European tour.

The group was scheduled to begin a 25 city tour on November 3 in Porto, Portugal and culminate in the December 11 sold out show in the Ziggo Dome, Amsterdam, Holland.

"I was really looking forward to returning to Europe and playing with the band again, and I'm sorry to disappoint everyone who has overwhelmingly supported the upcoming tour," said Davies in a statement.
