Cole Swindell has scored his fifth consecutive number one hit with "You Should Be Here," a track taken from his self-titled debut album. The cut, written with Ashley Gorley, is a tribute to Cole's late father.

"Finding out that you have the No. 1 song in the country while backstage at the Grand Ole Opry is the coolest feeling in the world," Swindell tells Billboard.

"This song is so special to me, and just hearing fans' stories and the way country radio has embraced it is amazing. I'm a lucky guy, and I know my Dad is smiling down right now, so proud."

"It's, by far, my favorite song that I think I've written. I think that's why I moved to Nashville, is to write a song like this. Just growing up, loving '90s country music, there were songs that touched me. There were fun ones, but there were also the ones I could relate to, and I think this is going to be that song when people get to hear it."
