Pepsi Bottling Group Inc. (PBG) announced that, as expected, John Cahill, will resign as Executive Chairman of company's Board, effective as of March 31, 2007. The company has named Barry Beracha to assume the role of Non-Executive Chairman of the Board at the time. These changes were originally announced in July 2006. Beracha has served the company board since March 1999.PBG's board also nominated a slate of directors for election at Annual Meeting of Shareholders on May 23, 2007. Nominees standing for election for the first time are Javier Teruel and Hugh Johnston.Thomas Kean and Clay Small have chosen not to stand for re-election and therefore will leave company's Board when their terms expire on May 23, 2007.
