Jack White has denied involvement in an upcoming biography written about him, according to NME.
The biography titled Citizen Jack: How Jack White Built an Empire From the Blues and written by veteran music writer Nick Hasted, is due to be published in October by The Overlook Press.
Third Man Records released a statement on Twitter regarding the biography, which read "Neither Jack White nor TMR has approved this biography. No one Jack is personally acquainted w/ contributed."
The book, which is 320 pages long, with 16 colour photographs in two eight-page inserts, is said to be "the only book yet to tell the full story of the 21st century's most influential rock star." Interviews within the book include some of White's closest friends, such as former bandmate Brendan Benson and Third Man artists such as Neil Young and Seasick Steve.
