A new documentary about the Beatles is scheduled to come out later this year.
The film, called The Beatles: Eight Days A Week — The Touring Years, is part of a new effort by streaming video provider Hulu to release unique documentaries. It is set to come out this September.
The doc will have a theatrical release, followed immediately by a streaming run on Hulu.
The movie is directed by Ron Howard, the famed filmmaker behind Apollo 13 and The Da Vinci Code. It follows the Fab Four during their years on tour, before their retirement from the road in 1966 to focus on creating studio music.
The movie will be released theatrically in the U.S. on September 16th. The next day it will be available to stream on Hulu.
