Tegan and Sara have released a new video for "Stop Desire," taken off of their latest album Love You To Death.
The new sexually suggestive clip, directed by Allister Ann, features Tegan and Sara enduring mundane, everyday tasks and drenching them in sexual overtones, including standing on a busy street singing the song while people pass them by. Reggie Watts made a surprise cameo as the duo enters a post office. Later, the duo hits the laundromat and finally, a farmers market.
"We wanted to marry the high-energy and colorful vibe of "Stop Desire's" production with the longing sexual undertones of the song's lyrics," the duo explains in a Facebook post.
Tegan and Sara have announced plans to release a video for each of Love You to Death's tracks.
