Frank Ocean Rewarded Fans Who Voted With Free Merch

Frank Ocean fans who voted in the U.S. midterm elections were eligible to pick up free merchandise at one of several pop-up shops in four cities.

Ocean followers who went out to vote in Houston, Miami, Atlanta, and Dallas, received the benefit on one condition: they present evidence that they voted on Tuesday.

He made the offer on his Tumblr page: "Bring proof (a ballot stub) that you voted to any of the locations below and get some free merch. Because God bless America."

He posted a flyer, which notes that "locations were chosen in states to support specific candidates: Stacey Abrams in Georgia, who if elected would be America's first Black female governor, Andrew Gillum in Florida, who would become the state's first Black governor and Beto O'Rourke, who would be the first Democratic senator in Texas in 24 years."
