U2 frontman Bono teamed with Pharrell Williams to cover the Bee Gees hit "Stayin' Alive" at the fourth annual "Jimmy Kimmel Live" (RED) benefit show earlier this week.

The special episode raised money and awareness for fighting HIV/AIDS ahead of World AIDS Day.

The Irish singer's charity organization is conducting AIDS awareness programs in sub-Saharan Africa.

Another attraction of the JKL special was the traditional all-star rendition of the satirical holiday song, "We're Going to Hell."

"It's refreshing to see so many stars joining forces to put a stop to something other than our president," Kimmel said of his all-star roster of guests, which also included Will Ferrell, Kristen Bell, Channing Tatum, Snoop Dogg, Mila Kunis, Chris Rock, Brad Paisley and Zoe Saldana.
