Former Rage Against the Machine bassist Tim Commerford's wife has reportedly filed for divorce.
The divorce papers to end the couple's marriage were filed in Los Angeles County court on Wednesday
The 50-year-old rockstar married Aleece Dimas, an AIDS activist, in 2001, and they have two sons together.
Aleece is seeking physical custody of her children - Quentin and Xavier - and spousal support.
The news was reported by Blast, but the reason to end the couple's 17-year marriage is not known.
Commerford, who was also the bassist for Audioslve and is currently a member of Prophets of Rage, had once said in an interview, "I love being a dad, I love my wife and my kids are amazing to me and I love the challenge of making music and family work. They influence me musically and emotionally."
