Alice In Chains has announced that the band is working on a new film project titled Black Antenna, inspired by the sound of their latest album, Rainier Fog.
The 90-minute sci-fi film is produced and directed by filmmaker Adam Mason.
The 10-episode film is based on the Rainier Fog album that Alice In Chains released earlier this year.
It was the band's first album in five years.
"I'm a long-time fan of the band. And this was an opportunity to do something fresh and inspiring from an indie film making side. The sound and vision between album and film are closely intertwined - it was a brilliant synergy that led to a really unique project," Mason said about the movie.
Alice In Chains drummer Sean Kinney said the band, "always toyed with the idea of creating videos for every song on one of our albums."
