Khalid's "Better" has finally reached the top of Billboard's Hot R&B Songs chart.
After remaining at No. 2 for ten weeks, the 20-year-old singer managed to dethrone Ella Mai's "Trip" on the chart dated January 19, ending the English singer's 14-week domination.
Having pulled 17.1 million U.S. streams in the week ending January 10, "Better" leads the R&B Streaming Songs chart for a second consecutive week, Nielsen Music data shows.
This is the second time a song from Khalid tops the chart. His "Young, Dumb & Broke" ruled the chart for 11 weeks in 2017-18.
Besides Better, two other songs from Khalid's recent album Suncity feature on Billboard's current Hot R&B Songs chart: "Saturday Nights" and "Suncity."
