The lyrics of Lizzo's "Truth Hurts" were given a literal interpretation in a YouTube video posted by Literal MSPaint.
The channel, known for illustrating song lyrics in a literal way by using Microsoft Paint drawings, has given a delightful meaning to the lyrics of "Truth Hurts," the Billboard Hot 100 No. 1.
The video shows a man grating cheese transitioning into a bee grating cheese, as the opening line "Why men great 'til they gotta be great?" streams across.
For the phrase "bom bom be dom, be dom bom bay," the video presents a sequence of images: two bombs, a bee, Harry Dunne (aka "dumb" from Dumb and Dumber), another bee, Lloyd Christmas ("dumber" from Dumb and Dumber), and shows the city Bombay on a map, making it up as "bomb bomb bee dumb, bee dumb Bombay."
The video also features pictures of a dude bench pressing shampoo bottles at the gym, a strand of DNA taking a test and a dog wearing a leather jacket, all in a literal interpretation of the song's lyrics.
