A new charity contest is offering fans of Bruce Springsteen the chance to meet and greet the iconic rocker in Asbury Park, New Jersey.
Springsteen has partnered with the Omaze fundraising website to launch a contest offering one winner and a guest a trip to Asbury Park. The winner and their friend can hang out with Springsteen on the beach community's historic boardwalk as he shares stories about his amazing career and life.
"You'll join Bruce for a stroll on the beautiful Asbury Park Boardwalk to talk about life, music and what this place means to him. Then make a pit stop at the beating heart of the Asbury Park music scene—The Stone Pony—to snap some photos to remember it all by," the website notes.
The contest will benefit the Geffen Playhouse, a not-for-profit theater company in Los Angeles that offers theatrical-arts programs to help motivate, inspire and promote literacy among high school students, as well as seniors, veterans and low-income members of the community.
