An elated Carey did not conceal her joy. S he took to Twitter to say, ""Yaaaaaaaaay!!! WE. DID. IT," accompanied by several celebration emojis.

"But.... what's a decade?" the 49 year-old singer and actress humorously added.

In the same post, Carey shared the Twitter link of Billboard's announcement about the achievement.

It says, "MariahCarey's 'All I Want For Christmas Is You' is officially No. 1 on the #Hot100 for a third week."

"As this is the first chart of the 2020s, she becomes the first artist in history to rule the chart in four separate decades: 1990s, 2000s, 2010s & 2020s," Billboard Charts' official Twitter handle added.
