Stocks have shown a lack of direction over the course of morning trading on Thursday, extending the lackluster performance seen in the previous session. The major averages are little changed following the wild swings seen in recent weeks.
Currently, the major averages are turning in another mixed performance. While the Nasdaq is up 15.02 points or 0.2 percent at 9,925.55, the Dow is down 25.62 points or 0.1 percent at 26,093.99 and the S&P 500 is down 3.40 points or 0.1 percent at 3,110.09.
