R&B superstar The Weeknd has released an extended version of his most recent single, "Take My Breath."

Taken from the singer's forthcoming, as-yet-untitled album, the song, originally tracking at 3 minutes 40 seconds, has now received an additional 1 minute and 35 seconds, with the Weeknd prolonging the oh-oh's in the intro and bridge of the song against a uniquely '80s beat.

The new album will be a follow-up to the 31-year-old's chart-topping LP, After Hours. "Blinding Lights," the lead single from the album, earned him the Top Hot 100 Song award at the 2021 Billboard Music Awards.

In his acceptance speech at the BBMAs, the Weeknd announced that the "After Hours are done and the dawn is coming."
