Shares of Chinese fintech platform Jiayin Group Inc. (JFIN) are rising more than 14% Wednesday morning after reporting improved second quarter results.
Net income in the second quarter increased 208.5% to RMB126.83 million or $19.64 million from RMB40.64 million in the same period a year ago.
Net income per share was RMB0.59 or $0.09 compared with RMB0.19 last year.
Revenue for the quarter increased 100.%year-over-year to RMB492.17 million or $76.23 million, helped by 153% growth in loan origination volume.
JFIN is at $4.49 currently. It has traded in the range of $2.47- $14.95 i the last 52 weeks.
