The value of the U.S. dollar has moved to the upside during trading on Monday, extending the upward move seen last Friday. Currently, the U.S. dollar index is trading at 96.34, up 0.26 points or 0.3 percent.
The greenback is trading at 115.47 yen versus the 115.56 yen it fetched at the close of New York trading on Friday. Against the euro, the dollar is trading at $1.1298 compared to last Friday's $1.1350.
