Jennifer Lopez and Jimmie Allen recently released a remix of her song "On My Way," a mid-tempo love song.
Originally released in November last year as part of the soundtrack for Lopez' 2022 film Marry Me, the new rendition of her hit song will feature on Allen's new album Tulip Drive, which is scheduled to come out on June 24.
Announcing the album last month, Allen said its title is named after the street his grandmother lived on in Delaware.
In a Twitter post, Allen said he met Jennifer Lopez for the first time in 2010 as a contestant on "American Idol," when Lopez was one of the judges.
"Soon as I heard 'I'm Real,' I told myself one day we would do a song together and It happened," he tweeted. "I'm honored to be a part of the reimagined version of 'On My Way.'"
Speaking about his upcoming album, Allen said, "This is the first album where a lot of the songs are actually written based off a lot of my own personal life experiences — from relationships, the hardships of life, to the parties & the good times."
