Smashing Pumpkins will tour Australia with Jane's Addiction and Amyl & the Sniffers in April this year.

The 10-date festival run, titled "The World Is A Vampire," will also feature up-and-coming Sydney rock band Redhook and seven-piece guitar band Battlesnake among others opening each show.

Some of Australia's most impressive rock will be on display as part of "The World Is A Vampire" tour.

This will mark a reunion for Smashing Pumpkins and Jane's Addiction, who together shared the stages of the Spirits on Fire U.S. tour last year.

Unlike traditional music festivals, "The World Is A Vampire" will feature professional wrestling matches between Billy Corgan's NWA (National Wrestling Alliance) and the WAOA (Wrestling Alliance of Australia) every day.

General tickets are available from midday local time on Friday.
