Former Van Halen lead vocalist David Lee Roth recently released a "studio live" version of the band's "Unchained."

The new version of "Unchained," like the previously released "Everybody Wants Some!!" "You Really Got Me," "Dance The Night Away," "Panama" and "Ain't Talkin' 'Bout Love," was recorded on May 3, 2022 as part of an extremely fast-paced session at Henson Studios in Los Angeles, California.

The singer was joined for the session by guitarist Al Estrada, bassist Ryan Wheeler and drummer Francis Valentino. The Roth band went into Henson Recording Studio and recorded 14 songs in two hours.

"Unchained" is a song from Van Halen's fourth album, Fair Warning.
