Usher's 'Yeah!' Reaches One Billion Spotify Streams

R&B superstar Usher's smash hit "Yeah!" has reached one billion global streams on Spotify since its 2004 release.

"Yeah!" featuring Lil Jon and Ludacris was released as the lead single from Usher's fourth studio album Confessions on January 26, 2004.

"Yeah!" topped the Billboard Hot 100 chart for 12 consecutive weeks, before being dethroned by Usher's follow-up single "Burn."

The song was certified platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America. "Yeah!" received a similar response in other countries, topping twelve others charts worldwide.

Last weekend, Usher performed at his sold out Lovers & Friends festival in Las Vegas with Mariah Carey and Missy Elliott on the lineup.

Usher's headlining performance included special guests Muni Long, Jermaine Dupri, Da Brat, Ari Lennox and Summer Walker.
