Snoop Dogg has cancelled his two Hollywood Bowl shows in solidarity with striking Hollywood actors and writers.

Snoop was scheduled to perform on October 20 and 21 to mark the 30th anniversary of his landmark debut album, Doggystyle.

But in an Instagram post, the rapper wrote, "We regret to inform you that due to the ongoing strike and the uncertainty of when this will be over, we need to cancel the Hollywood Bowl show."

"We continue to stand in solidarity with all of our brothers and sisters in the WGA and SAG-AFTRA during this difficult time and remain hopeful that the AMPTP will come back to the negotiating table with a REAL proposal and we can all get back to work," he added.

The Writers Guild of America (WGA) has been on strike since May 1 amid disputes over pay and the use of AI.

In July, the Screen Actors Guild - American Federation of Television and Radio Artists (SAG-AFTRA) joined the strike, marking the first time in more than six decades that actors and writers in Hollywood both walked off the job.
